 Abstract 

Ensuring and protecting the rights of minors is a priority area of State policy. Given the serious contradiction between the declaration of the protection of the rights and freedoms of minors in the Russian Federation and the real existence of cases, there is a huge gap. To overcome such contradictions, a theoretical understanding of the fundamental problems of childhood was needed, as well as a comprehensive approach to their resolution. A set of measures aimed at improving the lives of children should include financial, political, administrative, social and legal decisions that would not only affect the lives of each individual child but also improve the demographic situation in the country. The above is a prerequisite for the relevance of the topic of research, which is aimed at studying the problems that arise in the process of building an effective mechanism for the protection of the constitutional rights of minors in the Russian Federation.
